A very important question? When you die and stand before God and he ask you "Why should I let you into heaven?" What do you think you will say? Yes, we can know for sure. The Bible says:"These things have I written unto you that believe on name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life." Think about these verses from God's Word. We're All sinners! Romans 3:23 says for "ALL Have sinned and come short of the glory of God." The word all means you, me and everyone. Romans 6:23 says: "The wages of sin is death." Not just physical death but spirtual death. Total seperation from God. But now the Good news: The rest of the verse says "But the gift of God is eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord." So we have a choice to make: Eternal Death or Eternal Life. Everyone should know John 3:16:"For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting Life." Jesus death on the Cross paid the price for all our sins. Romans 5:8 puts it like this:"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." An illustration: place something in your left hand. Now this represents all your sins and your hand is you. Now transfer the object over to the right hand which represents Jesus. That's what Jesus did. He transfered all our sins on him. Now look at your hand. It should be empty. So, Jesus took all the punishment our sin deserved. So, how do you accept Jesus and receive God's free gift of eternal life. Roimans 10:9 & 10. "That if you confess with your mouth,"Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with the mouth you confess and are saved." It's as simple as Repenting of your sins and placing your faith in Jesus Christ. When you Repent, you decide to make a U-Turn. Turning away from your sins and turning to God through Jesus Christ. Who can do this? Romans 10:13 says: "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." It's the most important decison of your life. Is there any reason why you wouldn't want to Repent of your sins and place your Faith in Jesus right now? You can receive God's free gift of eternal Life today. Now is the right time because we aren't promised anything but this moment. Just pray a prayer like this from your heart. God sees the inside and knows if you're sincere. Pray this prayer;"Dear God. I repent of my sins right now and place my Faith in you as Lord and Saviour. Forgive me of my sins and help me to be more like Jesus. Thank you for saving me and taking all the punishment my sin deserved. In the precius name of Jesus I pray. Amen. If you prayed this prayer and really meant it, I welcome you into the kingdom of God. You have made the most important decision in your entire life. I would like to know. But more importantly, Go share this Good News with another Christian Friend. If you don't have A Christian Friend, then go to a local Church and share the Good news with a Minister. They will surely rejoice with you and give you some further instruction.
